I have always love trying new things, in late 2019 when an axe throwing venue opened just down the road from my house I knew I was going to try it. Try it I did, and immediately fell in love with this new and fast growing sport. I would return many times bringing family and friends and eventually getting a job there so I could throw and learn even more.

After becoming an Axe Master (Coach), the next step in my path was to join the newly started leagues. As many who know me can easily attest to, I am a competitive person. Throwing competitively and doing surprisingly well just continued to drive my love for Axe throwing. I joined other leagues in other venues and different formats, continuing to hone my craft. Eventually I knew I needed to truly challenge myself and in 2020 less then a year into the sport I did my first qualifier for an axe throwing world championship, successfully making into it for the Duals division and later getting a bid for Big Axe as well.

After a year of competitive throwing, qualifying and competing in the WATL US Open, IATF US championship and multiple WATL World championships, to say I was hooked and axe throwing a very big part of my life was an understatement. It was then I decided to take it one step further and turn something that was clearly a passion into a vocation, and the birth of Perplebunny’s Axe house.

I hope for everyone coming to be able to experience the joy and fun that is axe throwing, whether your here for fun, competition, or just a way to unwind and relax. Axe throwing is something that is easier than it sounds and is something anyone can do. No matter your age, gender, or physical fitness we will help you get that first throw, your first stick, and yes your first bullseye.
